Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Albuquerque Old Town, Sandia Resort & Casino and Turquoise Museum. Start off your visit on the 15th (Tue): examine the collection at Turquoise Museum, then examine the collection at American International Rattlesnake Museum, then try to win big at Sandia Resort & Casino, and finally take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Sandia Mountains. On the 16th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in nature's colorful creations at ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden, get to know the resident critters at ABQ BioPark Zoo, then get engrossed in the history at Anderson-Abruzzo International Balloon Museum, and finally take a stroll through Albuquerque Old Town.
