The Capital of the South

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Visit Ebenezer Baptist Church of Atlanta and Swan House for their historical value. Step off the beaten path and head to Delta Flight Museum and Stately Oaks. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Atlanta: Sweetwater Creek State Park (in Lithia Springs), Southern Museum of Civil War and Locomotive History (in Kennesaw) and Tellus Science Museum (in Cartersville). The adventure continues: see the interesting displays at Carter Center, admire the masterpieces at Michael C. Carlos Museum, hunt for treasures at Your Dekalb Farmers Market, and explore the landscape on two wheels at Silver Comet Trail.

Planning Atlanta trip won't be overwhelming when you use Inspirock's itinerary maker.

Tampa to Atlanta is an approximately 4-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and subway. Plan for a bit cooler nights when traveling from Tampa in June since evenings lows in Atlanta dip to 70°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Fri) so you can travel back home.
