Step out of Bend with an excursion to Smith Rock State Park in Redmond--about 38 minutes away. Charlotte to Bend is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Charlotte to Bend. Traveling from Charlotte in November, things will get slightly colder in Bend: highs are around 48°F and lows about 28°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 9th (Wed) so you can travel back home.
