5 days in Biloxi, Mobile & Gulf Shores Itinerary

A busy city on the Gulf Coast, Biloxi is one of the nation's oldest communities, first settled by Europeans in 1699.

Start off your visit on the 14th (Sun): steep yourself in history at Beauvoir, then kick back and relax at Biloxi Beach, and then don't miss a visit to Hurricane Katrina Memorial. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: examine the collection at Ocean Springs Museum of History, then admire the masterpieces at Walter Anderson Museum of Art, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Michael's Catholic Church, and finally stroll the grounds of Old Biloxi Cemetery.

Baton Rouge to Biloxi is an approximately 2.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or do a combination of flight and taxi. In June, plan for daily highs up to 88°F, and evening lows to 74°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 15th (Mon) early enough to go by car to Mobile.

Start off your visit on the 16th (Tue): brush up on your military savvy at Battleship USS ALABAMA, steep yourself in history at The Fort of Colonial Mobile, then take an in-depth tour of Mobile Police History Museum, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

Traveling by car from Biloxi to Mobile takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a bus. In June in Mobile, expect temperatures between 88°F during the day and 73°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Tue) so you can drive to Gulf Shores.

Gulf Shores is a resort city in Baldwin County, Alabama, United States. You can drive from Mobile to Gulf Shores in 1.5 hours. Expect a daytime high around 86°F in June, and nighttime lows around 71°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 18th (Thu) early enough to drive back home.
