Gateway to the Black Hills

South Dakota's second-largest city, Rapid City has for many years served as a gateway to the West.
On the 7th (Wed), stroll through Cleghorn Springs Hatchery, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chapel in the Hills, and then find something for the whole family at Storybook Island. On the 8th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the exciting artwork at Suzie Cappa Art Center, examine the collection at Museum of Geology, stop by Alex Johnson Mercantile, then wander the streets of Downtown Rapid City, and finally view the masterpieces at Prairie Edge Trading Co. & Galleries.
