A small resort town located in Georgia's "Historic High Country," Blue Ridge sits right on the national scenic trail that follows the Appalachian mountain range for over 3,300 km (2,100 mi).
Step out of the city life by going to Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park and Desoto Falls. Museum-lovers will get to explore Booth Western Art Museum and Mark of the Potter. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Blue Ridge: Horseback Riding Tours (in Blairsville), Chickamauga Battlefield (in Fort Oglethorpe) and Helen (Raven Cliff Falls, Nora Mill Granary, & more). There's lots more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Fields of the Wood, take in the dramatic scenery at Long Creek Falls, and stop by Blue Ridge Olive Oil Company.

Before you visit Blue Ridge, use our trip planner to discover what you can do and see there.

March in Blue Ridge sees daily highs of 61°F and lows of 38°F at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 2nd (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
