Elkton to Boston is an approximately 4.5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. Expect a daytime high around 83°F in July, and nighttime lows around 67°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sun) to allow time to drive to Salem.

Best known for its 1692 witch trials, Salem has a number of significant historical sites, a bustling downtown, and many witch-themed attractions.

Start off your visit on the 24th (Mon): contemplate the long history of The House of the Seven Gables, stroll the grounds of Old Burying Point Cemetery, then examine the collection at Salem Witch Museum, and finally look for gifts at Crow Haven Corner. Keep things going the next day: get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour.

Traveling by car from Boston to Salem takes an hour. Alternatively, you can take a train; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 82°F, and evening lows to 64°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 25th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
