Beantown

Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Faneuil Hall Marketplace and Newbury Street. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museum of Fine Arts and John F. Kennedy Presidential Museum & Library. And it doesn't end there: wander the streets of North End, stroll around Boston Public Garden, get engrossed in the history at USS Constitution Museum, and explore the different monuments and memorials at Granary Burying Ground.

Elkton to Boston is an approximately 4.5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. In July in Boston, expect temperatures between 83°F during the day and 67°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sun) early enough to drive to Salem.

Salem — 2 nights

Witch City

Start off your visit on the 24th (Mon): contemplate the long history of The House of the Seven Gables, stroll the grounds of Old Burying Point Cemetery, then examine the collection at Salem Witch Museum, and finally look for gifts at Crow Haven Corner. Keep things going the next day: get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour.
