Cape Carteret — 1 night

Start off your visit on the 5th (Fri): take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, stroll through Hammocks Beach State Park, and then stop by Candy Edventure. Keep things going the next day: try for a hole-in-one at The Golfin Dolphin, enjoy some friendly competition at MacDaddy's Entertainment Center, and then learn about winemaking at Lake Road Winery LLC.
