Brainerd is a city in Crow Wing County, Minnesota, United States. Take a break from the city and head to Rice Lake National Refuge and The Pines Golf Course at Grand View Lodge. Step out of Brainerd to go to Onamia and see Mille Lacs Indian Museum and Trading Post, which is approximately 38 minutes away. Situated on the westernmost point of the Lake Superior, Duluth represents a booming port city.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Mon): kick back and relax at Iona's Beach Scientific and Natural Area, explore the landscape on two wheels at Gooseberry Falls State Park, then examine the collection at 3M Dwan Musem, and finally stop by Great Lakes Candy Kitchen. On the next day, take a memorable drive along Minnesota's North Shore Scenic Drive, then identify plant and animal life at Congdon Park, then tour the pleasant surroundings at Park Point, and finally take in the views from Aerial Lift Bridge.
