Berkeley of the Rockies

Located in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Boulder is a busy college town known for its progressive values and natural resource conservation.
Your day by day itinerary now includes CU Museum of Natural History, Mesa Trail and Pearl Street Mall. On the 10th (Sat), hike along Mesa Trail, get a new perspective on nature at CU Museum of Natural History, and then get a taste of the local shopping with Pearl Street Mall.

Hays to Boulder is an approximately 5.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and car. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time (CST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Hays in July, Boulder is a bit cooler at night with lows of 60°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 10th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Denver.
