Denver — 1 day

Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Thu): head outdoors with Outdoor Activities, brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Stranahan's Whiskey Distillery & Cocktail Bar, and then take an in-depth tour of Golden History Museum & Park.

Sarasota to Denver is an approximately 7-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of taxi, bus, subway, and train.
