Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Thu): brush up on your military savvy at National Museum of World War II Aviation, see the sights as you ascend with a climbing tour, then stroll around Garden of the Gods, then stop by Christmas in Manitou, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Old Colorado City.

Dallas to Colorado Springs is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from Dallas to Colorado Springs, you'll gain 1 hour due to the time zone difference. When traveling from Dallas in November, plan for a bit cooler days in Colorado Springs, with highs around 55°F, while nights are much colder with lows around 27°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Divide.

Divide is a census-designated place and a U.S. Post Office in Teller County, Colorado, United States. You've now added 300 Days of Shine to your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Victor (Victor's Gold Camp Ag & Mining Museum, Vindicator Valley Trail, &more) and Phantom Canyon Road (in Cripple Creek). Next up on the itinerary: identify plant and animal life at Colorado Wolf and Wildlife Center, take in the awesome beauty at Horsethief Falls, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Paradox Beer Company, and see the interesting displays at Pikes Peak Historical Society Museum.
