Plan for a bit warmer temperatures traveling from Eilat in January, with highs in Islamorada at 29°C and lows at 22°C. Getting from Islamorada to Key West by car takes about 2 hours. Other options: take a bus. In January in Key West, expect temperatures between 28°C during the day and 22°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) so you can go by car to Marathon.

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.

Kick off your visit on the 13th (Sun): enjoy the sand and surf at Sombrero Beach, then identify plant and animal life at The Turtle Hospital, and then stroll through Bahia Honda State Park.
