Explore Atlanta's surroundings by going to Chateau Meichtry Family Vineyard and Winery (in Talking Rock) and Build an Ark Animal Rescue (in Ellijay). Kick off your visit on the 12th (Tue): learn about all things military at National Museum of the Mighty Eighth Air Force, learn about all things military at Webb Military Museum, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Cathedral of St. John the Baptist, then stroll around Forsyth Park, and finally don't miss a visit to River Street Savannah. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 13th (Wed): explore the different monuments and memorials at Colonial Park Cemetery, stroll the grounds of Bonaventure Cemetery, then admire the striking features of Mickve Israel Temple, then get thoroughly spooked out with a ghost and vampire tour, and finally appreciate the extensive heritage of Savannah Historic District.
