Government Camp is an unincorporated community and census-designated place located in Clackamas County, Oregon, United States, south of Mount Hood and north of Tom Dick and Harry Mountain. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Mt. Hood Meadows and Ramona Falls Trail. Take a break from the city and head to Timberline Lodge and Ski Area and Mt. Hood Adventure Park at Skibowl. There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Mt Hood Cultural Center and Museum, take in the dramatic scenery at Little Zigzag Falls, explore the activities along Trillium Lake, and look for all kinds of wild species at Wildwood Recreation Site.

To see more things to do, other places to visit, traveler tips, and other tourist information, go to the Government Camp attractions planner.

Gresham to Government Camp is an approximately 1-hour car ride. You can also drive. Traveling from Gresham in March, you will find days in Government Camp are slightly colder (52°F), and nights are about the same (39°F). Finish up your sightseeing early on the 27th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
