Set deep in the Ouachita Mountains, the city of Hot Springs almost completely surrounds the national park of the same name.

You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Arkansas Arts Center and Anthony Chapel. Visiting Mount Nebo State Park and Lake Catherine State Park will get you outdoors. Venture out of the city with trips to Museum Of Discovery (in Little Rock) and Mount Magazine State Park (in Paris). And it doesn't end there: trek along Grand Promenade, get in on the family fun at Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf, look for gifts at Fox Pass Pottery, and look for all kinds of wild species at Arkansas Alligator Farm & Petting Zoo.
