City of Fountains

The largest municipality in Missouri, Kansas City has an impressive array of world-class museums, shopping areas, and great places to eat, all of which attract tourism to the area.
Appreciate the collections at National WWI Museum and Memorial and Harry S. Truman Library and Museum. Get some cultural insight at Union Station and The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. Change things up with a short trip to Burr Oak Woods Conservation Area in Blue Springs (about 32 minutes away). Next up on the itinerary: take a stroll through Country Club Plaza, steep yourself in history at Bingham Waggoner Mansion & Estate, get engrossed in the history at Arabia Steamboat Museum, and see the interesting displays at Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
