Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.
Kick off your visit on the 24th (Tue): look for all kinds of wild species at Jefferson Memorial Forest, then Head underground at Louisville Mega Cavern, then view the masterpieces at Revelry Boutique Gallery, and finally brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Copper & Kings American Brandy Distillery. On the 25th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: examine the collection at Kentucky Derby Museum, then steep yourself in history at Churchill Downs, then examine the collection at Louisville Slugger Museum & Factory, and finally admire the masterpieces at 21c Museum Hotel.
