Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.
Start off your visit on the 18th (Thu): contemplate the long history of Historic Locust Grove and then admire the masterpieces at 21c Museum Hotel. On the 19th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Barton 1792 Distillery, then tee off at My Old Kentucky Home, and then brush up on your military savvy at Old Bardstown Village Civil War Museum.
