Fewer than 400 people call Keystone home year-round, but the population explodes in summer when crowds flock to nearby Mount Rushmore.
Bring the kids along to Mammoth Site of Hot Springs and Jewel Cave National Monument. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Keystone: Custer (Sylvan Lake & Needles Eye Tunnel). The adventure continues: pause for some photo ops at Mount Rushmore National Memorial, go deep underground at Big Thunder Gold Mine, go for a walk through Breezy Point Picnic Area, and hike along Presidential Trail.

To find more things to do, photos, where to stay, and other tourist information, read Keystone itinerary planner.

Lehi to Keystone is an approximately 5-hour combination of car and flight. You can also drive. Traveling from Lehi in April, things will get a bit cooler in Keystone: highs are around 50°F and lows about 27°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
