Osage Beach — 2 nights

Osage Beach is a city in Camden and Miller counties in the U.S. state of Missouri. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Harmy's Cheese Store & More, LLC and The Fugitive Beach. Kids will enjoy Lewis and Clark Monument Trailhead Plaza and Missouri State Museum. Venture out of the city with trips to Stonehenge at Missouri S&T (in Rolla), Fanning 66 Outpost (in Cuba) and Jefferson City Convention & Visitors Bureau, Inc. (in Jefferson City). There's lots more to do: admire the majestic nature at Lake of the Ozarks State Park, relax and rejuvenate at Spa 54 at Old Kinderhook, and play a few rounds at Golf at Old Kinderhook.

Kansas City to Osage Beach is an approximately 3-hour car ride. In June, daily temperatures in Osage Beach can reach 83°F, while at night they dip to 64°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Lake Ozark.

Lake Ozark — 2 nights

Lake Ozark is a city in Camden and Miller counties in the U.S. state of Missouri, near its namesake, the Lake of the Ozarks. On the 7th (Wed), look for gifts at Grandma's Candy Kitchen, Head underground at Stark Caverns, then Head underground at Fantasy World Caverns, and finally find something for the whole family at Lemans Fun Park. On your second day here, contemplate the waterfront views at Lake of the Ozarks, pause for some serene contemplation at National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church, and then Head underground at Jacob's Cave.
