Kentucky’s largest city, Louisville, is best known as the home of the Kentucky Derby.
Get some cultural insight at Cave Hill Cemetery and Conrad-Caldwell House Museum (Conrad's Castle). Your inner history buff will appreciate Historic Locust Grove and My Old Kentucky Home. Go for a jaunt from Louisville to Clermont to see Bernheim Arboretum & Forest about 32 minutes away. There's much more to do: walk around Iroquois Park, examine the collection at Frazier History Museum, sample the fine beverages at Kentucky Peerless Distilling Co, and admire the masterpieces at 21c Museum Hotel.

Start off your visit on the 22nd (Thu): brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Four Roses Bourbon - Warehouse and Bottling Facility, then contemplate the long history of Old Fort Harrod State Park, then see the interesting displays at The Great American Dollhouse Museum, and finally take in the history at Perryville Battlefield State Historic Site.
