Portland — 1 night

Maine's biggest and perhaps most vibrant city, Portland was established as a fishing village in 1633 and grew to become New England's largest port.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Wed): enjoy the sea views from Portland Head Light and then stop by L.L. Bean Factory Store. On the 23rd (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the striking landscape at Perkins Cove and then get to know the fascinating history of Marginal Way Walkway.
