A major center for tourism and travel, Baltimore is famous as the city where amateur poet Francis Scott Key wrote the lyrics for the United States' national anthem.
Your day by day itinerary now includes National Aquarium. Step out of Baltimore with an excursion to U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis--about 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: try to win big at Horseshoe Casino, take in the waterfront activity at Inner Harbor, explore the striking landscape of Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine, and make a trip to National Katyn Memorial.

Philadelphia to Baltimore is an approximately 2-hour train ride. You can also drive; or take a bus. In July, plan for daily highs up to 89°F, and evening lows to 74°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) so you can drive to Ocean City.

The White Marlin Capital of the World

One of the country's favorite vacation resorts, Ocean City draws nearly 8 million visitors annually with its oceanfront boardwalk, clean beaches, and amusement parks.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Mon): tee off at Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links, see the interesting displays at Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, then walk around Northside Park, and finally tour the pleasant surroundings at Ocean City Beach. On the 7th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take a leisurely stroll along Ocean City Boardwalk, fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, then find something for the whole family at Jolly Roger Amusement Park, and finally stop by A Little Bit Sheepish.
