A major center for tourism and travel, Baltimore is famous as the city where amateur poet Francis Scott Key wrote the lyrics for the United States' national anthem.
Step out of Baltimore with an excursion to U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis--about 40 minutes away. Spend the 6th (Thu) exploring nature at Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine. There's lots more to do: meet the residents at National Aquarium, admire the masterpieces at The Walters Art Museum, sample the fine beverages at Sagamore Spirit Distillery, and try to win big at Horseshoe Casino.

One of the country's favorite vacation resorts, Ocean City draws nearly 8 million visitors annually with its oceanfront boardwalk, clean beaches, and amusement parks.
Kick off your visit on the 8th (Sat): take in the waterfront at Ocean City Boardwalk, then kick back and relax at Ocean City Beach, and then find something for the whole family at Jolly Roger Amusement Park. On the 9th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: fly like a bird with a parasailing or paragliding tour, see the interesting displays at Ocean City Life-Saving Station Museum, then tee off at Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links, and finally admire the majestic nature at Assateague State Park.
