A small resort town with a year-round population of just 3,000, Provincetown draws nearly 60,000 annual visitors with its scenic beaches, art colonies, galleries, theaters, and shops.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Tue): admire the masterpieces at Provincetown Art Association and Museum, then stroll through Marconi Beach, and then kick back and relax at Coast Guard Beach. Keep things going the next day: stroll through Race Point Beach, appreciate the history behind Pilgrim Monument & Provincetown Museum, ponder the world of politics at Provincetown Town Hall, then take a leisurely stroll along MacMillan Wharf, and finally see majestic marine mammals with a dolphin and whale watching tour.

Atlanta to Provincetown is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of subway, bus, and ferry. Plan for a bit cooler temperatures traveling from Atlanta in July, with highs in Provincetown at 79°F and lows at 64°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 28th (Wed) so you can ride a ferry to Boston.
