Located on both banks of the Mississippi River, Minneapolis salutes the state's love of the outdoors with numerous lakes, wetlands, creeks, and waterfalls--many connected to one another by a national scenic byway great for sightseeing.
Start off your visit on the 10th (Mon): kick back and relax at Round Lake Park and Beach, then take a peaceful walk through Baker Park Reserve, and then admire the sheer force of Minnehaha Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 11th (Tue): tee off at Troy Burne Golf Club, then walk around Birkmose Park, and then wander the streets of Summit Avenue.
