West Glacier is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) in eastern Flathead County, Montana, United States. Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Fri): relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, then get great views at Jackson Glacier Overlook, and then cruise along Going-to-the-Sun Road. On your second day here, contemplate the waterfront views at Avalanche Lake, then hike along Iceberg Lake Trail, and then explore the striking landscape at Grinnell Glacier.
