The first national park east of the Mississippi River, Acadia National Park draws visitors with its rugged landscape of ocean shoreline, low-slung granite mountains, dense woodlands, and pristine lakes.
Kick off your visit on the 27th (Mon): hike along Great Head Trail, tour the pleasant surroundings at Sand Beach, and then take in the awesome beauty at Cadillac Mountain. On the next day, hike along Champlain Mountain & Beehive Loop Trail and then kick back and relax at Little Hunters Beach.
