A trip to Corolla will add a bit of slow-paced fun to your Outer Banks holiday.
Start off your visit on the 13th (Sat): steep yourself in history at Whalehead Club, get interesting insight from Tours, and then kick back and relax at Carova Beach. Holiday in Willington to discover a charming coastal city filled with azalea gardens, historical neighborhoods, and cozy cafes.
On the 15th (Mon), enjoy the sand and surf at Holden Beach and then kick back and relax at Oak Island Beach. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate the long history of Fort Fisher State Recreation Area, glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, and then wander the streets of Downtown Wilmington.
