More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
Start off your visit on the 30th (Sun): take a stroll through Short North Arts District and then whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks. Here are some ideas for day two: admire the natural beauty at Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, wander the streets of Easton Town Center, then look for gifts at Krema Nut Company, and finally get to know the fascinating history of German Village.
