Seattle to Cannon Beach is an approximately 4.5-hour car ride. You can also take a bus; or fly. In August, Cannon Beach is a bit cooler than Seattle - with highs of 71°F and lows of 55°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 24th (Mon) so you can go by car to Portland.

A big city with a small-town feel, Portland is home to the country's biggest rose test garden, perched on a hill overlooking downtown.
Get in touch with nature at Multnomah Falls and Volcano Lands - Private Tours. Dedicate the 27th (Thu) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area.
