Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.
Get out of town with these interesting Salt Lake City side-trips: Rocky Mountain Outfitters (in Midway) and Park City (Canyons Village at Park City & Park City Main Street Historic District). And it doesn't end there: take in nature's colorful creations at Temple Square, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Cathedral of the Madeleine, get a new perspective on nature at Natural History Museum of Utah, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Salt Lake Temple.
