San Juan — 4 nights

Walled City

Founded by the Spanish in 1521, San Juan is the oldest city under U.S. jurisdiction and one of the oldest in the Americas.
Get out of town with these interesting San Juan side-trips: Kayaking & Canoeing (in Fajardo), El Yunque National Forest (in El Yunque National Forest) and Playa Luquillo (in Luquillo). There's still lots to do: get to know the fascinating history of Old San Juan, make a trip to Parroquia San Francisco de Asis, skim along the rocks with a canyoning and rapelling tour, and kick back and relax at Condado Beach.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiport is Luis Munoz Marin International Airport. In March, daily temperatures in San Juan can reach 85°F, while at night they dip to 73°F.
