Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Chihuly Garden and Glass and Pioneer Square. You'll explore and learn at The Museum of Flight and Seattle Art Museum. Step out of Seattle with an excursion to Discover Nature in Lakewood--about 1h 10 min away. Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of Pike Place Market, take in the waterfront at Hiram M. Chittenden Locks, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Saint James Cathedral, and take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle.
