The town of Telluride is the county seat and most populous town of San Miguel County in the southwestern portion of the U.S. Explore Telluride's surroundings by going to Ouray (Ouray Ice Park & Box Canyon Waterfall & Park), Dolores (The Anasazi Heritage Center & Rio Grande Southern Railroad Museum.) and Spas (in Ridgway). There's still lots to do: get outside with Telluride Outside, fly down the slopes at Telluride Ski Resort, indulge in some culinary diversions at a local gastronomic tour, and discover the riches below the earth's surface at Yankee Girl Mine.
