Tempe, also known as Hayden's Ferry during the territorial times of Arizona, is a city in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States, with the Census Bureau reporting a 2010 population of 161,719. Kick off your visit on the 22nd (Tue): try to win big at Harrah's Ak-chin Casino and then explore the ancient world of Casa Grande Ruins National Monument. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: find something for the whole family at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park and then look for all kinds of wild species at McDowell Sonoran Preserve.
