As the state’s second largest city, San Antonio embodies Texas’ rich cultural heritage while maintaining the Old West charm of an oil town.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Mon): take in the architecture and atmosphere at San Fernando De Bexar Cathedral, contemplate the long history of Mission San Jose, then admire the architecture and history at Mission San Juan, and finally let the kids burn off some steam at Brackenridge Park. On your second day here, shop like a local with The San Antonio River Walk, get engrossed in the history at The Alamo, and then gain some tasty knowledge on Cottonwood Wine Tours.

Start off your visit on the 4th (Wed): get engrossed in the history at Bullock Texas State History Museum, then get engrossed in the history at LBJ Presidential Library, then stop by Wild About Music, and finally take in the natural beauty of Barton Springs Pool. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 5th (Thu): trek along Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail, then explore the world behind art at Umlauf Sculpture Garden & Museum, then contemplate the long history of Texas State Capitol, and finally admire the landmark architecture of The Driskill.
