Paradise — 1 day

Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. state of Michigan.Paradise is on the northeastern portion of Michigan's Upper Peninsula, on the western side of Whitefish Bay, Lake Superior, about 60mi by road from Sault Ste. Tahquamenon Falls State Park has been added to your itinerary. Start off your visit on the 31st (Tue): take in the dramatic scenery at Tahquamenon Falls State Park and then explore the activities along Tahquamenon Falls.

Minneapolis to Paradise is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Minneapolis to Paradise due to the time zone difference. In May, Paradise is slightly colder than Minneapolis - with highs of 61°F and lows of 39°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Tue) so you can drive to Saint Ignace.

You can drive from Paradise to Saint Ignace in 1.5 hours. Another option is to do a combination of taxi and bus. In May, plan for daily highs up to 58°F, and evening lows to 41°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Wed) early enough to ride a ferry to Mackinac Island.
