Valdosta — 1 night

Valdosta is a city in and the county seat of Lowndes County, located on the southern border of Georgia, United States. Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Sat): look for all kinds of wild species at Grand Bay Wildlife Management Area, then get in on the family fun at Wild Adventures Theme Park, and then tee off at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club.

Dayton to Valdosta is an approximately 11.5-hour car ride. You can also drive. In July, Valdosta is a bit warmer than Dayton - with highs of 94°F and lows of 73°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 3rd (Sun) so you can drive to St. Augustine.
