North Conway combines colonial New England architecture with outlet shops selling goods from some of the world's most recognizable brands, all set amid the scenery of the White Mountains.
Start off your visit on the 6th (Sun): stop by Zeb's General Store. Keep things going the next day: look and learn at Mount Washington Observatory Weather Discovery Center, take in the dramatic natural features at Cathedral Ledge, and then take a memorable drive along Kancamagus Highway.

Charleston to North Conway is an approximately 8.5-hour combination of flight and bus. You can also do a combination of flight, bus, and taxi; or drive. Traveling from Charleston in October, things will get a bit cooler in North Conway: highs are around 62°F and lows about 45°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 8th (Tue) early enough to go by car to Lincoln.

Stretching through the White Mountain National Forest, Lincoln welcomes hikers along the Appalachian Trail.
Kick off your visit on the 9th (Wed): take in the dramatic natural features at Flume Gorge, then kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, and then take in the dramatic scenery at Sabbaday Falls. Here are some ideas for day two: immerse yourself in nature at Franconia Notch State Park, then examine the collection at New England Ski Museum, and then snap pictures at Riverwalk Covered Bridge.

Drive from North Conway to Lincoln in 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. Plan for little chillier nights when traveling from North Conway in October since evenings lows in Lincoln dip to 38°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel back home.
