Your day by day itinerary now includes Mammoth Hot Springs as well as Lower Geyser Basin. Kick off your visit on the 20th (Wed): witness a stunning natural landmark at Grand Prismatic Spring. Salt Lake City to Yellowstone National Park is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. In July, Yellowstone National Park is cooler than Salt Lake City - with highs of 73°F and lows of 39°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Sat) so you can go by car to Grand Teton National Park.

Grand Teton National Park — 1 night

The peaks of Grand Teton National Park aren't the highest in the world, but they sit atop what might be nature's archetypes for mountains.
Your day by day itinerary now includes Mormon Row Historic District as well as Schwabacher Landing. Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Sat): don't miss a visit to Schwabacher Landing, then get great views at Willow Flats Overlook, and then take a memorable drive along Signal Mountain Summit Road. On the 24th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: identify plant and animal life at Oxbow Bend and then contemplate the long history of Mormon Row Historic District.

You can drive from Yellowstone National Park to Grand Teton National Park in 1.5 hours. When traveling from Yellowstone National Park in July, plan for somewhat warmer days and about the same nights in Grand Teton National Park: temperatures range from 79°F by day to 44°F at night. On the 24th (Sun), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can fly back home.
