Provo is the third-largest city in the U.S. state of Utah, located 43mi south of Salt Lake City along the Wasatch Front. Take a break from the city and head to Rock Canyon and Homestead Crater Mineral Dome. Popular historic sites such as Provo City Center Temple and Provo Utah Temple are in your itinerary. Step out of Provo with an excursion to Timpanogos Cave National Monument in American Fork--about 32 minutes away.
