Houston

— 56 nights

Bayou City

Although urban sprawl remains synonymous with Houston, most of the city's tourist attractions lie within the relatively small downtown area, surrounded by diverse neighborhoods housing the nation's biggest African-American, Asian-American, and Latino communities.
Visiting Cockrell Butterfly Center and Brazos Bend State Park will get you outdoors. Do your shopping at The Printing Museum and Phoenicia Specialty Foods. Get out of town with these interesting Houston side-trips: Haak Vineyards and Winery, Inc. (in Santa Fe), College Station (Museum of the American GI, Santa's Wonderland, &more) and Spring (Cypresswood Golf Club, TGR Exotics Wildlife Park, &more). Spend the 18th (Mon) exploring nature at Big Thicket National Preserve. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 22nd (Fri) at Splashway Waterpark. Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Space Center Houston, admire the masterpieces at The Menil Collection, test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms, and stroll the grounds of Glenwood Cemetery.
