Augusta–Richmond County is a consolidated city-county on the central eastern border of the U.S. Start off your visit on the 23rd (Wed): steep yourself in history at Sacred Heart Cultural Center, make a trip to The Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, and then see the interesting displays at Augusta Canal Discovery Center. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the different monuments and memorials at Magnolia Cemetery, appreciate the extensive heritage of Riverwalk, and then take an in-depth tour of Augusta Museum of History.

Oceanside is a coastal city located on California's South Coast. Family-friendly places like LEGOLAND California and Oceanside Pier will thrill your kids. Old Town Temecula and Mission San Luis Rey are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Oceanside: Dolphin & Whale Watching (in Dana Point) and Mission San Juan Capistrano (in San Juan Capistrano). There's still lots to do: enjoy the sand and surf at South Carlsbad State Beach, walk around Oceanside Strand, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Harbor Beach.
