The most populous city in the state after New York, Buffalo serves as the gateway to Niagara Falls and Canada for many travelers.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Pierce-Arrow Museum and HoliMont. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like North Buffalo and 21 Brix Winery. Venture out of the city with trips to Lazy Acre Alpacas (in Bloomfield), Corbett's Glen Nature Park (in Brighton) and Powder Mills Park (in Pittsford). There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Tifft Nature Preserve, stroll around Patriots and Heroes Park, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Our Lady of Victory National Shrine & Basilica, and do a tasting at Deer Run Winery.

To find maps, where to stay, ratings, and other tourist information, you can read our Buffalo trip planner.

In February, plan for daily highs up to 33°F, and evening lows to 18°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
