Windy City

A huge and vibrant city, Chicago is home to top-notch theaters, shops, museums, galleries, and restaurants.
Get in touch with nature at Starved Rock State Park and Hawthorn Hollow - Nature Sanctuary and Arboretum. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Silver Beach County Park and Fishing Charters & Tours. Venture out of the city with trips to Saint Joseph (Whirlpool Compass Fountain & St. Joseph Lighthouses), Washington Square Park (in Ottawa) and Chesterton (Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve & Cowles Bog). There's much more to do: admire the masterpieces at The Art Institute of Chicago, take in the exciting artwork at Chicago Cultural Center, tour the pleasant surroundings at Volo Bog State Natural Area, and stroll around Millennium Park.
