Chinook is a city in and the county seat of Blaine County, Montana, United States. On the 5th (Thu), take in the history at Bear Paw Battlefield and then see the interesting displays at Blaine County Museum.

Havre to Chinook is an approximately half hour car ride. You can also drive. In January, daily temperatures in Chinook can reach 29°F, while at night they dip to 9°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Fri) so you can drive to Spokane.

Spokane is a city located in the state of Washington in the northwestern United States. Get out of town with these interesting Spokane side-trips: Schweitzer Mountain Resort (in Sandpoint), Coeur d'Alene Lake (in Coeur d'Alene) and Bridle Path Quarter Horses (in Hayden). And it doesn't end there: stroll around Riverfront Park, admire all the interesting features of Downtown Spokane, stop by Paradise Fibers, Inc, and take in nature's colorful creations at Manito Park.
