Whereas most national parks are primarily devoted to showcasing unique and special landscapes, Mesa Verde National Park focuses on ancient human habitation.
Go for a jaunt from Mesa Verde National Park to Teec Nos Pos to see Four Corners Monument about 1h 20 min away. There's still lots to do: explore the ancient world of Balcony House, admire all the interesting features of Petroglyph Point Hike, examine the collection at Chapin Mesa Archeological Museum, and make a trip to Park Point.
